Innovation Atelier Nilsen builds on a family business founded in 1953, where craftsmanship has been passed down through generations. Led by Steve Nilsen, an interior designer with 15 years of experience, the studio has evolved into a creative space where innovation and craftsmanship meet.

While Mortex remains a key foundation, Atelier Nilsen now works with a wide range of materials, including wood, napa leather, nubuck, high-end upholstery and polished high-gloss finishes. Combining these materials results in unique, layered designs with a strong and distinctive identity.

Collaborations with artists enrich the collection with exclusive and often limited-edition pieces. Each piece is handcrafted with great attention to detail, durability and functionality, with the aim of enhancing spaces, adding character and telling a timeless story.
