An international spotlight on Belgium’s design heritage!

Fedustria / BelgoFurn is proud to announce a bold new initiative that once again places the very best of Belgian design heritage firmly in the international spotlight: Best of Belgium.

At Maison & Objet 2026, Belgium will for the very first time be represented with a collective national pavilion. Immediately following this milestone, Fedustria will introduce an inspiring new concept: the Best of Belgium Design Gallery, a refined, carefully curated showcase that brings the richness, diversity and maturity of Belgian furniture and object design to life for a global audience of designers, buyers, press and design enthusiasts.

That Best of Belgium resonates from the very start is clear from the overwhelming interest: this first edition is already nearly fully booked, underscoring the international strength of our Belgian brands.

The Gallery will occupy a prominent location along the fair’s red carpet, a symbolic gateway through which visitors are literally welcomed by Belgian craftsmanship and creativity. Within a unified, elegant scenography, iconic designs, timeless classics, contemporary innovations and new voices come together in a nearly museum-like experience. Each piece is presented with respect for its form, material and character, allowing the design to speak for itself, clearly, powerfully and unmistakably Belgian.

Best of Belgium does not focus solely on objects, but also on the world behind them. Every featured item will carry a name and QR code that leads visitors directly to the digital story behind the brand and the product. This creates both a strong visual experience and a direct bridge to the identity, expertise and creative spirit of our sector: the workshops, designers, traditions and distinctive vision that define Belgian design.

With this initiative, Fedustria aims to shine a spotlight on a sector that, even in challenging times, continues to demonstrate exceptional resilience, imagination and a deep passion for quality. The Best of Belgium Design Gallery is more than an exhibition: it is a collective expression of pride, an invitation to the world to discover Belgium at its best, and a new international platform that structurally enhances the visibility of Belgian designers and brands.

Paris marks the starting point of a broader strategy. Best of Belgium will grow into a recognizable and evolving platform that represents Belgian creativity at other international fairs and events — from the Middle East to the United States, and naturally also at key moments such as Antwerp Design Week. In doing so, we collectively reinforce the Belgian design identity on the global stage: with quality, character and a distinctive beauty as its unmistakable signature.
